(They are not scratches that you can feel, but rather like scratches from metal polishing in a sink.) I took many photos, but they didn't come out well. The scratches will become less noticeable as the patina develops. Compared to other Yamaha products, the copper ratio seems to be lower, but it has a deep color. I am also selling a brass instrument from Sakura Gakki, which is also unlacquered, so please refer to that listing. I didn't take very good care of it, and it didn't have a beautiful rainbow color, so I polished it before taking the photos. I will ship it in a condition where I try not to leave fingerprints on it, so I hope you will enjoy developing the patina to your liking. The sound quality has changed subtly, so please refrain from purchasing if you are considering it for a wind band or educational purposes. Whether it's unique to this model or because the lacquer has been removed and it's become lighter, I can't say for sure because I can't compare it to the original 354 model, but I feel like the 3rd position is closer. Also, since it's only the bell that is unlacquered, it should be easier to maintain after use. The balancer is not a KING balancer, but the original Yamaha balancer with a KING sticker on it (sweat). Japanese-made tenors tend to feel out of place, so I used this one for fun. Please consider purchasing after understanding this!
