# Tail Doll Patsy-Ann doll from Effanbee. Height: Approximately 48cm. She's a large doll. Patsy was born in 1928. She captivated girls and quickly became a star of the era. Capitalizing on her popularity, other companies also produced dolls with similar faces, which later became known as the Patsy type. This Patsy-Ann is Patsy's older sister, and of course, she's from Effanbee (1930s). Compared to the baby-faced Patsy, she has a more girlish sweetness, and her dress is also girlish. She is all-composition, and her eyes are bright green. The sleep function is good. The upper eyelids have plenty of eyelashes, giving her expression subtle shading. The six parts of her head, body, arms, and legs are connected with strong rubber bands, allowing for pose changes such as tilting her head, raising her arms, and sitting. The dress, matching pants, socks, and shoes are original. The pale pink dress with a see-through pattern has angel wing-like sleeves. The elastic on the pants had stretched, so I sewed them to shrink them. I didn't alter the dress because it's so lovely (only ironing), and I knitted a red mohair hat as an accent color. The round ball on top gently sways. The red goldfish is missing, so I will include something else as a gift. There are paint chips on the underside of her arms and legs.
