They are made by stacking two Ido-style tea bowls of different sizes and lining the inside with gold and silver foil. The gold bowl is pentagonal and represents a crane. The silver bowl is hexagonal and represents a turtle. The gold bowl is smaller than the silver bowl. The gold bowl is placed on top of the silver bowl, and it is a stacked tea bowl to celebrate good fortune.
