30s V Talon Zipper A rare and valuable zip cardigan featuring a V Talon zipper from the 1930s. This zipper was a prototype by Talon, known as Deco Talon, but was ultimately rejected and never widely released. It features a single claw and an unfinished pattern. Through experimentation with Deco, the more common R Deco Talon zipper became the standard. This particular zipper is incredibly rare, not just in Japan, but globally. The raglan sleeves and dropped shoulders make this a very comfortable piece to wear. The elegant burgundy color makes it a statement piece. While it's a highly specialized item, it's one that would excite vintage enthusiasts worldwide. Vintage winter items are increasing in price, but this is a truly unique item. There's no established market price, but I purchased it three years ago for 180,000 yen. You might see some special items listed on VCM, but I doubt you'll find another V Talon like this.
