While it's from 1918, it seems to be in relatively good condition with not much sign of use, although the frequency of use is unknown. I set it to toaster mode and tried baking two slices of bread. The inside was soft and the outside was crispy, and it was delicious even without anything added. I confirmed that other parts get hot.
