He studied photography at the Municipal Photography School of Brussels and the Volwé-Saint-Pierre Academy. As a child, Nicolas dreamed of "taking pictures of elephants," and from his photography school days, he began taking photography trips to Thailand, Nepal, and Indonesia. In 2010, he published a photo collection titled "India, Spiritual Journey." He also frequently visited Africa, traveling to Namibia, Tanzania, Botswana, and Kenya, and continued to take photos inspired by nature. Nicolas also opened a gallery in the center of Brussels called "L'Instant Présent" (meaning "this very moment").
