Indigo and ivory star-shaped quilted fabric. - Design: Star-shaped quilting pattern - Colors: Indigo and ivory - Size: Max: 108cm (Please compare with a can of beer) - Material: Calico (cotton) Thank you for viewing. Purchased in America. A quilt from the 19th to 1920s. Possibly made by Stifel. Made using the same method as Wabash, with indigo-dyed fabric having patterns bleached out. The fabric is unwashed. The indigo parts are clean, but there are brown stains and spots on the white fabric. There are no holes or tears. Considering it's about 120 years old, the fabric is sturdy and in good condition. It's a wonderful item. It looks great just hanging on the wall, but it could also be used as material for remaking, or made into a rug with backing. There seem to be various ways to use it. Thank you. *The Budweiser (350ml) used for size comparison is not included. I enjoyed it after the photoshoot.
