This is a fukuro obi (formal obi) I received from my aunt. The details are unknown, but it appears to have been used very little. It has been stored for a long time and has some fold creases. The design features large silver cherry blossoms scattered across the surface. The part that wraps around the body has no pattern, so I believe it is a rokutsu-toushi type of fukuro obi (six-panel design). The cherry blossoms are in black, evoking the atmosphere of "night cherry blossoms" and giving it a very modern feel. With such prominent cherry blossoms, I believe this is a luxurious item for fashionable wear during the limited period of February to March.
