Product Name: CITIZEN YOUNG DRESSY 17 Jewels Hand-wound ★Overhauled, Unused C.G.P Case, Made in Japan 1963 Model Leather strap: New, made by BAMBI *Overhauled by a certified watch technician on April 30, 2023 (cost: ¥20,000) ●Case width: approx. 15mm (including the crown) Lug width: approx. 11mm (Please allow for some margin of error) ●Citizen's Dressy was released in 1960 and was the world's first ladies' model equipped with Parashock. It has a clean design and was a very popular model at the time. It was a high-end watch priced at ¥11,300 when the starting salary for college graduates in 1961 was about ¥16,000. This individual is a rare Young Dressy model, with the additional pet name "Young," and it was stored unused and overhauled in 2023. It has a 17-jewel hand-wound movement, an orthodox and highly reliable movement. Made in Japan, vintage models from around the 1960s show the high craftsmanship of the time. The texture and finish are excellent, and it looks great on formal occasions. ●The crystal, dial, hands, and case are in quite clean condition for a vintage watch of this age, with no major damage. Please check the photos. The leather strap had deteriorated over time, so a new one made by BAMBI has been attached. ●When winding the crown for the listing, it is running well. The timegrapher measurement showed a daily rate of +20 seconds on a flat surface.
