This is a wooden box specifically for the Japanese sake "Kanki-kou" from Sawada Brewery in Nara Prefecture. For a 1.8L bottle. Height: 43cm Width/Depth: 13cm It's not a paulownia wood box, but made of another type of wood (unknown). The top of the empty box is stained due to aging.
