Fang Zhao studied calligraphy from a young age and painting from her teens, and was a disciple of masters of Chinese painting such as Zhao Shaoang and Zhang Daqian. Despite a turbulent life, she raised eight children as a mother, and her passion for art never wavered. She studied famous paintings of all ages, deepened her understanding of Chinese literature, and expanded her activities to the world, creating a unique style of painting. And at the age of 87, she continues to pick up her brush every day in Hong Kong. This exhibition will feature approximately 60 works, including representative paintings, calligraphy, and related materials. This exhibition, which inherits the traditional Chinese painting methods and has opened up a unique realm, can be said to be a culmination of Fang Zhao's work.
