These are pesticide-free sansho (Japanese pepper) leaves harvested in a nature-rich mountain area at an altitude of about 500m. The second photo shows the current state of the leaves. The leaves are about 10cm long. Smaller leaves will also be included. Also, as this is the final harvest of the season, the leaves are generally colored red or have changed color. There are also many fallen leaves, so please purchase with the above in mind. Please store in the refrigerator upon arrival to keep them fresh longer, but as the leaves are starting to turn red, they are prone to falling off. Each leaf will be checked after harvesting, but due to the pesticide-free nature of the product, there is a possibility that insect bites or small insects may be mixed in. Please note that the product will be shipped at room temperature, so please understand this before purchasing. Also, please note that shipping may be delayed if it rains, as harvesting is not possible.
