It's introduced as the Braun S-170 in vintage catalogs, and is a 3-pickup version of the S-180, which was a 4-pickup model used by Hound Dog Taylor. The pickguard and electrical component plates are all nickel-plated and mirror-finished, but there is deterioration due to aging, giving it a vintage feel. The body is large and weighs 3.8kg, giving it a solid impression. This is a very old, Japanese-made vintage guitar manufactured approximately 60 years ago. It has age-related deterioration, scratches, and repairs, and does not feel like a new item. Please purchase only if you understand vintage guitars. Maintenance completed: (String height adjustment, fret polishing, overall cleaning) There is a possibility that screws may loosen during transportation. String height: 1st string 1F ≒0.6 mm, 12F ≒2.2mm (measured at the time of listing) There are no stains. Body: Sunburst (There are individual differences in color perception. Please refrain from purchasing if you are particular about the color.) Neck: Set neck Fingerboard: Rosewood Scale: 628mm Nut width: 42mm 20 frets Selector: Seesaw switch Weight: Approximately 3.8kg (analog scale) The exterior condition does not have any extremely large, noticeable scratches, but there are some dents, scratches, dullness of metal parts, deterioration of plating, damage to peg bushings, rust on screws, and slight bending of the peg knob shafts (does not affect tuning). The tremolo arm is made by me (I also sell arms on auctions, etc., and make them carefully with Japanese tools). Knobs are general-purpose. The brand logo is made by me and protected with urethane clear. Body only, no soft case. Condition is good! Frets are about 7-80% remaining (crowned and polished). (Strings are slightly worn, but no problem for playing) The electrical system is working properly. Output is stable and each knob responds correctly. Neck is straight. Truss rod can be adjusted.
