Akagi "Clear Mahjong Tiles" (Washizu Mahjong Tiles), which were sold exclusively at a certain mass retailer. They were sold for only a few years, from around 2005 to 2007, while supplies lasted. A distinctive feature is the included "black yakitori mark with Akagi's face." No other Washizu Mahjong tiles come with the "Akagi yakitori mark." For me, this alone is the reason I absolutely want these mahjong tiles. While the "Mini Clear Mahjong Tiles" can be found on flea market sites, these larger "Clear Mahjong Tiles" are rarely seen. Because they were a limited release, I was told by the store clerk that "once the stock runs out, that's the end, and there will be no re-release." They have never been used, so there are no tears in the shrink wrap or deterioration of the tiles. There is a small tear on the bottom of the outer case. These are rare Washizu Mahjong tiles that I would like a collector to own.
