Made in the Banshu region, a renowned pre-dyeing area, this fabric uses durable, supple French linen from northern France. Despite its high-density weave, the fabric's stiffness is suppressed, resulting in a fabric with a moderate drape. The texture is characterized by the smooth, cool feel of linen. The fabric thickness is a delicate pinpoint Oxford weave, making it difficult to see through even with a single layer. It drapes well and is lightweight, with a beautiful slub effect in the weft made of linen, making it a versatile fabric for home sewing.
