The playing feel is, because of the pink gold plating, slightly heavier than the standard MO, and has a tone unique to plating (in my personal opinion). Purchased new, used for about six months (once a week). Used for about 30 minutes per session. Never dropped. The ligature itself has no major stains or scratches that would affect playing.
