Scholar Ikeuchi Toso (Ikeuchi Daigaku), paper, hanging scroll, with tears. He was a loyalist. Ikeuchi Daigaku (December 3, 1814 (Bunka 11, October 22) - March 11, 1863 (Bunkyu 3, January 22)) was a Confucian scholar during the late Edo period. He was also skilled in Chinese poetry and calligraphy. His family name was Minamoto, his given name was Noritoki, his azana (courtesy name) was Shishin, and he used the art name Toso. Daigaku was his common name (hyakkan-mei). Please examine the photos carefully as there is some deterioration due to age.
