This is the leftover leather and the main body of a notebook cover, made by upcycling an old Coach bucket bag. I had a craftsman in Asahikawa, Hokkaido, make it for me several decades ago, but I disassembled it for storage because the size of my notebook changed. The seam allowances, where the double stitching is done, have been thinned to make them easier to sew.
