This is a manual egg-turning type. It takes effort, but it's incredibly rewarding when the chicks hatch. I've used it several times, so it's best to replace the thermostat. I'm including a spare thermostat because it's been in storage for 3 years. I'll include the manual, so you can install it with simple wiring. The heat lamp works. The fan is also working fine. It plugs into a standard outlet. The thermostat allows for fine adjustments, which increases the hatch rate. Once the chicks hatch, you can use this as a brooder box.
