This is a refined Nabeshima Dantsu rug, featuring a beautiful crab peony pattern and no tassels, measuring 95cm x 191cm (the size of one tatami mat in the Kyoto style). Although it is an antique, it hasn't been used constantly, so there are no noticeable signs of wear or damage. It is approximately 7mm thick and relatively thin. The rug is generally clean, but there are some stains and minor blemishes, so please be aware of this before purchasing. Please check the 5th and 6th photos for the extent of the stains. New Nabeshima Dantsu rugs are made to order and are very expensive, so I think it's a good value to acquire an existing one at a lower price.
