1/64 ERTL 1958 Plymouth Fury Christine Plymouth Fury Christine, no box Length: 8.1cm Width: 3.1cm This is a miniature car of the 1958 Plymouth Fury, the car featured in the 1983 American horror film "Christine," based on the Stephen King novel. I think ERTL also had a 1/25 scale plastic model of the same car. Christine is the nickname given to the red 1958 Plymouth Fury, which is central to the story. The 1958 Fury's body color was only available in Buckskin Beige with gold trim, so the film used a Plymouth Belvedere, a sister car with red paint, as the Fury to make it look better on screen... I bought and stored this about 25 years ago. The engine room inside the front hood, the rear, and the underside of the car are all reproduced in detail. I think the fine chrome parts are also well reproduced. There are marks from the fixing material on the top of the front hood since the time of purchase. Please check the photos carefully and refrain from purchasing if you have any concerns.
