Green, 6.5 inches Purchased a long time ago at a used instrument store. It's a snare drum from the 1970s. The sound is bright, but with a softened edge. I usually use modern spec snare drums, but I bought this one as a sub for my collection because it has a good sense of vintage character and rawness. Another snare drum is now fulfilling that role, so I am selling this one. I will include a case as a bonus. I think it's a good deal at this price. The wood from this era, unlike today's, seems to resonate beautifully. Please refrain from negotiating the price for this item.
