The picture at the top is actually an embroidered piece. It's a cross-stitch embroidery painting that I bought 11 years ago at a thrift store called "GOOD WILL" when I went to Michigan, USA. I think it was around 600 yen back then, thanks to the strong yen. Even if it's not quite "early American," there was a time in America when grandmothers would hand-embroider things. I really love it. I wanted to go to the art fair held every year in Ann Arbor, Michigan, again, but my husband is getting old and is afraid to drive, and we have a dog at my parents' house, so it doesn't seem like I can go... (゜´Д｀゜)゜。 I used to think that if you wished for something, it would come true, but I guess there's a right time for everything... The book on the left is a book of paintings of the four seasons that I bought at a small folk museum in Korea. Korean paintings are rich in color, and the animals are deformed and cute ♡ The bath towel has vibrant colors and a very cheerful, cute design!!
