Perhaps you're having trouble with the clear bin (dustbin) coming off? This is because if the protrusions on the receiving tray at the bottom of the cyclone are chipped, the stopper won't work, and the clear bin won't stay in place. Replacing it will fix the issue and also clean the inside of the cyclone. Why not try replacing it with a clean cyclone that has been disassembled, maintained, cleaned, disinfected, and sterilized? To replace it, simply remove the filter and then remove the four plus two (bottom of the main unit) Phillips screws on the back of the motor body (see photo). # A size 1 Phillips screwdriver is available upon request.
