This bag was purchased at the Mitsukoshi department store in Nihonbashi, Japan, sometime in the 1930s. It has been carefully stored, but with retro styles becoming popular again, I would like to offer it to someone who appreciates it. It's made of very good quality genuine leather from that era, and the clasp has elaborate engraved metalwork. It's also recommended for those who only want to use the clasp. The interior shows signs of aging, but it doesn't affect its use. It has a light and small design. I think it's in beautiful condition for an antique that's almost 90 years old.
