I unpicked and washed a vintage haori. This obiage (decorative sash) always gets compliments when I wear it. Because it uses multiple colors, it's easy to match with various kimonos and obis. Once you hold it, you'll understand how useful it is. Highly recommended! Short sides are pinked. One long side is selvedge, and the other is raw. The long side is not likely to unravel, but if you wish, I can pink it with pinking shears (+100 yen). The fabric is easy to handle with a moderate amount of stiffness. Stains are not noticeable. There are lines from the tailoring that look like they were made with an iron, but they are within a range that does not affect use (see photo 5).
