I think this can be worn as either a knee-length dress or a tunic. It's simple, but I bought it because I liked the design, which makes you look slimmer. However, it no longer fits me, so I'd like to pass it on to someone who can wear it. There are no noticeable stains, but please understand that this is a used item.
