Unlike inexpensive souvenirs or modern mass-produced items, this piece is recommended for those who value antiques and collectables. Although it has not been appraised by a specialist institution, it is an authentic, very old inkstick made by Hu Kaiwen. It is approximately 27cm long and weighs about 1.2kg, making it very large. It features a three-dimensional, hand-carved, and colored design of a dragon and phoenix. The inkstick is marked with "Hu Kaiwen Kansei" (Supervised by Hu Kaiwen) and the inscription "Hisho Fubu" (Soaring Phoenix Dance) on the side. The bottom and sides show numerous natural age cracks (fine cracks) caused by long-term storage, giving it considerable character. Considering its age, it appears to be in good condition, with no major chips or cracks. There are no signs of use, and it has been carefully preserved. It is suitable for practical use, as well as for interior decoration and appreciation, such as for good luck charms, warding off evil, and antique art. This is an antique with a "heavy presence and craftsmanship unique to handmade items," so please refrain from purchasing if you are overly sensitive.
