I read it all at once because it was so interesting. The mainstream Musashi, as written in this book, is obsessed with winning, repeatedly doing image training and role-playing, thoroughly studying his opponents, and is a killing sword that always kills! Hyogonosuke, considered a genius among the Yagyu, aimed to win without killing his opponents, the life-giving sword! The story of how these two contrasting figures eventually come to fight. I think it's a work that fully demonstrates the author's skill. The depiction of the historical background where the killing sword was becoming less accepted was also interesting.
