A Bizen-yaki tokkuri (sake bottle) or perhaps a vase. The pattern has character. Diameter 10cm, height 15cm. If it's a tokkuri, it might hold about 2 go (a unit of volume, roughly equivalent to a cup). I've forgotten where or when I bought it. There's a mark on the bottom that says "Aitoshu".
