Thank you for viewing. This is a Bizen-yaki teacup. It's uncertain whether it was used, but there is a chip on the bottom. Please understand that this is a used item. It looks quite old, but the pottery mark has "bizen" in kana characters, so it's likely from what is called a "common kiln" of the early modern period (personal opinion). This was obtained by my father, who was born and raised in Bizen City, from acquaintances, friends, and artists. He said that his collection included some very old pieces and works by famous artists, but now it's uncertain which ones are, or even if it's true. Please view the images and make your own judgment and take responsibility for whether the item for sale has value. There is no accompanying box or artist's card.
