It is a three-dimensional copper family crest, housed in a wooden frame with a glass front. I was told it was custom-made. When I opened the back cover, a flyer from 1993 was used as a stopper, so I believe it's older than that. It would be suitable not only for homes but also for Japanese-style establishments such as Kappo restaurants and Ryokan inns. The crest is a "Maru ni Mokko Mon" (Circular Japanese Quince Crest). It depicts the "Mokko Mon" (Japanese Quince Crest) and surrounds it with a circle of normal thickness. Also known as "Maru ni Yoko Mokko," it is the most commonly used family crest among Mokko crests.
