It's hard to convey in still images, but when you shine a light on the stone in a slightly dark place, you can see a rainbow-colored reflection as the light scatters inside the stone ^o^ ☆ Metamorphosis comes from the Greek words meta (= beyond) + morph (= form), and is a unique quartz with a name that means "transformation." It is known to have the property of changing color due to light or heat. Most of the stones produced are milky in color, but they can change to a pale pink, smoky, or sometimes lilac hue when exposed to ultraviolet light or high temperatures.
