Approximately 23.5cm in diameter. Made in the former Soviet Union / Ukraine. Hand-painted. Floral pattern, gold trim. Porcelain. Soup plates. Set of 4. The moment I saw these plates, I thought, "How cute!" The white porcelain features a pink floral pattern with varying shades, green leaves with varying shades, and gold trim. These are bright and lovely soup plates. Unfortunately, 2 out of the 4 plates have chips, and 1 has a crack. In addition, there are freckles, gold trim wear, dullness, kiln marks, minor cutlery scratches, and uneven glaze. Please check the photos. Personally, I think they are perfectly usable. To prevent injuries and further damage, it might be a good idea to reinforce the chipped areas with putty. Based on the backstamp, they appear to have been made in the former Soviet Union, Ukraine, by the Berezovsky / Bereznovsky kiln. These items predate the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991. It is unknown whether they are deadstock or used, but some pieces are in quite beautiful condition, so even if they are used, they may have only been used on special occasions. I obtained these in Armenia, formerly part of the Soviet Union. I believe these are items that are unlikely to be found again. Please refrain from individual price reductions.
