Thank you for viewing. This is a "Bayazit Kamon" fukuro obi (formal obi) from the long-established Nishijin-ori weaver, Obanya Sutematsu. Made with pure silk, gold and silver thread, and Karaori (a type of woven fabric). This "Bayazit Kamon" obi from Obanya Sutematsu is said to feature a pattern inspired by the kaftan (Turkish national costume) of Sultan Bayezid II of the Ottoman Empire. It is a powerful and luxurious fukuro obi from Sutematsu.
