This is a magatama (comma-shaped bead) made of Itoigawa jade, weighing 12 grams. The specific gravity is approximately 3.1, as measured by a simple method. When a light is shone through it, it appears a pale green. It has a plump, rounded shape and I believe it is high-quality jade. There is no certificate of authenticity. This is a used item.
