Thank you for viewing. This is a celadon sometsuke plate purchased at an antique market. The period is from the late Edo period to the early Meiji period. The bottom is thick and feels heavier than it looks. The color of the celadon is nice. Bamboo grass and leaves are also drawn on the rim. The red in places is intentional. The center depicts a landscape with houses. The bottom is a standard composition, but the top is strange. What could it be? Is the upper left part a roof? If so, it looks like a landscape seen from a round window inside a room. Then it's strange, and it's all I can see anymore. Regarding the condition. There are cracks (nyu). There are minor scratches appropriate for the age. Other than that, they appear to be kiln marks. Please check the images carefully. Size Height: 3.5 cm Width: 22 cm
