With Sorting Trilliant Cut (Approx.) 9.58 x 9.81 x 9.92 x 5.1mm This is a 2.742ct loose gemstone of natural, untreated actinolite-in-apatite from Pakistan. Photos were taken indoors with natural light, under UV light, and in sunlight (the hand photo was taken indoors at night). Shadows and surrounding colors are reflected, but the actual color is only green. It contains rutile-like actinolite. It is similar to actinolite-in-quartz, but it is a different material. When exposed to UV light (using a 3W 365nm UV light), it fluoresces from green to purple-blue, creating a fantastic and beautiful effect♡ It is rare to find apatite containing actinolite, and it is also rare for it to fluoresce. Fluorescent apatite is limited in origin and has a low yield, making it very rare in the market. Furthermore, those containing actinolite are almost non-existent, making this combination of the two extremely difficult to obtain and incredibly rare♡ The transparency is very high, and there are no noticeable scratches or chips.
