Old Edition: Gakken Manga: Japanese History Through People Tragic Princess of the Warring States Period: Yodo-dono (Lady Yodo) Manga by Naomi Sakaguchi This is a Showa-era historical manga published in 1985. It was on the bookshelf at my house. The illustrations are beautiful, and the content is easy to understand, allowing you to grasp the flow of history from Yodo-dono's perspective. She is often portrayed as a villainess, but reading this might change your perspective a bit. Of course, it is now out of print, but it has good reviews on Amazon, so please take a look there as well. There is some yellowing due to aging, corner wear, cover creases, small peeling, and tears. Please check the images. Some pages have stains, but there doesn't seem to be any noticeable damage such as writing or tears.
