I remember purchasing this around 1991, either at a Christmas specialty shop in Walt Disney World or at the Disney Store in Florida Mall. It was part of the Christmas decorations along with the Nutcracker I brought home at the time, but it had been sleeping in a corner of the storage room. Upon checking for this sale as part of a collection cleanup, I found that the original belt showed no signs of wear, so I believe it is almost unworn. ☆ The battery has been replaced and is working properly. The crystal is clean. I didn't notice any noticeable scratches. The case has minor scratches and scuffs, and there is some clouding due to aging. There are fine scratches on the back cover and small scratches from battery replacement. The original dedicated tin case has scratches and scuffs from being taken in and out, but there are no dents. The backing card has folds from being taken out, and there are dirt and scratches on the bottom of the case from storage.
