I recently purchased this at a local musical instrument store and have used it a few times. There is a small chip on the rim, but it doesn't affect its use. I think it's recommended for those who find their instrument heavy, or for those who are feeling the weight of their current instrument. The tone is different from its appearance, and it resonates well. I am selling it because I am looking for a larger size.
