Cast Bronze Covered Vessel (Yūgai Hō) The "Covered Vessel (Yūgai Hō)" is a masterpiece among the collection of ancient Chinese bronzes owned by the Sen-oku Hakukokan Museum (Kyoto), collected by the Sumitomo family. It was originally made as a wine vessel during the early Western Zhou dynasty. This item was commissioned to Isao Okado, a member of the Nitten (Japan Fine Arts Exhibition) judging committee, to be made as an ornament.
