This is a gorgeous fukuro obi featuring a beautiful arrangement of chrysanthemums blooming vibrantly against a moist, leather-like purple Urushi-ori (lacquer weave) background. The white, pink, and yellow chrysanthemums have beautifully graduated petals in Kara-ori (Chinese weave), and the purple leaves surrounding the flowers are also depicted with gradations of light and dark. The lustrous texture of the purple Urushi-ori will also beautifully adorn a mature, sophisticated woman. It appears that there is no obi core, making it a very soft and easy-to-tie obi. This is a used item, and while there are some creases and minor thread snags, it is in good condition for a vintage item, with no noticeable stains or blemishes. ■ Material: Silk ■ Obi Width: Approximately 31cm ■ Total Length: Approximately 424cm Paired with the separately sold "Kiribori Edo Komon, Signed, Plant-Dyed, Artist-Made, One Crest" kimono. #TsurukameNoKimono
