This is a Greek mythology brooch I purchased about 5 years ago. I've kept it in storage, just looking at it, without ever using it. The size is about 6.2cm tall x 4.7cm wide, and it's a large brooch weighing about 27g. The theme is the female poet Sappho. The artist's name is engraved on the back, and the carving is very beautiful. The frame appears to be silver and 18k gold (there are markings on the pin on the back). Thank you.
