This is a very elegant piece featuring the iconic white heron. It was an item from when a relative was studying the tea ceremony (Urasenke). I do not study the tea ceremony, so I do not know the details. It was carefully stored at my parents' home, but I am selling it to declutter. As this is a beautiful confectionery bowl with brushstrokes and two white herons, I hope someone will find it useful. The original box and the yellow cloth that wrapped the bowl have stains. The confectionery bowl itself, to the untrained eye, has no noticeable flaws and I believe it can be used without any problems. It was stored in a place away from direct sunlight in my home. I don't think it has ever been used. Although it is a beautiful item, please understand that it has been stored for a long time, and only those who can judge from the photos and understand this should purchase it. It was wrapped in paper from "Mikawa-yaki" of Nagasaki [Image 16].
