An old Wajima-nuri lacquerware bowl. This item features a vibrant vermillion color and a graceful chrysanthemum and butterfly maki-e design. The gorgeous chrysanthemum and butterfly maki-e uses techniques like kirikane (cut gold leaf) while still conveying a somewhat rustic charm.
