This is a C.G. Conn cornet. It appears to be an old cornet, likely sold in the 1960s. The playing feel was more open than my Yamaha cornet. The pistons and all slides move freely. There is considerable lacquer wear due to its age, but there are no dents. It's an older type of instrument with the spring placed in the bottom cap, but the springs and piston felts are in good condition, and the piston action is smooth. The water key cork is also in good condition.
