This is a wood carving by the popular artist Masaki Eko. I purchased it about 10 years ago at a solo exhibition at Ékoca in Ebisu, Tokyo. The girl's sullen expression is quite humorous, and her clothes are cute... and of course, the dog has a nice feel to it. I loved it and displayed it at home. I kept it in a place away from direct sunlight, so there is no discoloration or fading. Height... 9.8cm
