They can be used as an undergarment for skirts and pants, or as a hem protector for kimonos. In the summer, they seem like they would be useful as indoor wear on their own. Although they are kimono underwear, the crotch area is also lined with the same type of fabric. They have a very nice, glossy feel, but since they were made from the lining of a used kimono, stains may inevitably be present. This is a new creation, but we appreciate your understanding in this regard. Since they were long, I have made it so that you can insert elastic into the hem. This time, it's not a stain on the fabric itself, but a color transfer caused by an accident during handwork, from adjacent fabric. It's a light reddish discoloration. See photos 5, 6, and 7. (Although it was dry, it absorbed moisture from the air and the color transferred.) After noticing the color change, I washed it with a detergent that has a bleaching effect.
