Antique, for calligraphy This is a combined listing with another brush. Please check the size in the images. The daruma-shaped part of the handle looks like water buffalo horn, but it's not certain. I visited China the year after the Japan-China Treaty of Peace and Friendship was signed, and purchased this at a hotel reception. With limited time for shopping, I fell in love with several items and bought them, and this is one of them. After returning to Japan, I kept it in its original box and then stored it carefully in a storage box. The light blue lining of the box shows signs of aging. As this is an item from about 50 years ago, please check the images and make sure you are satisfied before purchasing if you are concerned about any details.
